Capture is a PC based image-capturing application that communicates with GPS, DMI, and multiple cameras to create spatially registered forward and lateral images while the vehicle is traveling at normal speeds.

Playback displays the captured images and shows their location on the map. Playback allows the user to fast forward, rewind, or skip to images that were marked during the collection. EnterRoadInfo also supports the playback of VisiData produced by the ARAN vehicle.

Collection allows asset data record creation using the captured images. Location of the asset item is based on GPS and DMI information associated with the images. The triangulation function is provided, which uses multiple images to calculate the forward and lateral offsets of the asset item on the screen. Using a configurable tool panel, the user can predefine feature types, groups, and default values so that data collection is easy and efficient.

Weatherproof - Once the photos are taken, asset inventory can be performed in the office regardless of the current weather conditions. Specify a road and select a session, then the user virtually travels on the road at the desired location and at the specified traveling speed. The asset database records can be created using mouse clicks, touch screen, or voice commands while viewing the video on the screen. The location and the accuracy of each asset item are verifiable on the screen.
